Although, the projector does offer limited support for pairing external speakers with it - with Bluetooth or 3.5mm jack - so if you are looking to get X2 and build a home-theatre around it, you would be able to match it with a decent speaker system. It is loud enough to watch movies or shows but it cannot match the performance of standalone speakers or good soundbars that can be paired with TVs. The projector has built-in stereo speakers -6W each - that are powered by Harmon Kardon technology.
